# What types of punch clocks can I use to record my punches?

Depending on the configuration set by your company, you have the option to record your punches:

1. **From a physical (stationary) punch clock:** Use a punch clock installed at your company's premises to record your hours.
    
2. **From a virtual punch clock:** Record your punches online via a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
