# How to validate the reading of an announcement?

**When should I confirm the reading of an internal announcement?**

Some internal announcements require a reading confirmation. When this is required, a window will appear upon logging into your space or when opening your dashboard, indicating that a confirmation is requested.

**What should I do when the reading confirmation request window appears?**

You can read the announcement and confirm your reading immediately by following these steps:

1. Click on the title of the announcement.
2. Once you have read the content, click on the button **"Click here to confirm that you have read this announcement"**.
3. The date and time of your confirmation will be automatically recorded.

**What happens if I close the window without confirming?**

If you choose to close the window, it will reappear during your next logins or each time you open your dashboard until the confirmation is completed.

**Where can I find all the announcements requiring a confirmation?**

You can access all internal announcements, including those requiring a reading confirmation, by navigating to the **Company > Announcements** menu. Those requiring confirmation are marked with the note " **Read confirmation required**" To confirm the reading of an announcement, simply follow the same steps mentioned above.
