# How to import an external calendar into myHR?

You can import calendars from programs compatible with the **.ics** format, such as **Apple Calendar,** **Microsoft Outlook,** **Google Calendar,** **Mozilla Lightning**, and more.

###### How to import a calendar into myHR?

1. **Generate and copy the .ics link** from the source calendar you want to export data from.
    
2. **Log in to myHR** and click on **Calendar** in the top navigation bar.
    
3. Go to **Settings**, then select the **Import Calendar** tab.
    
4. Assign a label to the imported calendar and choose the display color.
    
5. Paste the **.ics** link copied from the other calendar.
    
6. Click the **Add Link** button.
    
7. Once synchronization is complete, the **link** icon will appear in **green**, along with the date and time of the last update.
